Southern Comfort Brunch, Hands-On

Let's kick off this summer weekend with a southern inspired brunch in the kitchen together! Chef Tara will first lead students through the process of making their own Louisville "Hot Brown". Students will then pair up and take on 1 of the additional recipes, rounding out this flavorful & amazing menu. All participants will share the meal family style, and everyone leaves with all recipes. Coffee, juice and various other beverages are included to enjoy with brunch. Students ages 14+ are welcome to register for the class. Full Menu *Louisville "Hot Brown" Made with roast turkey breast, charred tomatoes, creamy Mornay sauce, crisp bacon and melted cheese. *Benedictine Tea Sandwiches, a classic favorite. *Pimento Cheese with Vegetable Charcuterie platter. *Bourbon Meatballs, with apricot, bourbon, brown sugar and more! *Shrimp & Sharp Cheddar Cheese Grits. *Kentucky Derby Bars, layers of chocolate, toasty pecans and a brown butter bourbon.
