Spring is here, summer is right around the corner, and this isn't your typical salad class! These loaded salads are diverse and ramped up with seafood, steak and chicken! This is a hands on class, pairing up into teams, creating sensational salads, perfect for every meal! Lead by Chef Tara, students will work in pairs to complete the menu and have a chance to enjoy a family style dinner, sharing all the sensational salads. Presentation of salads, prep short cuts & fresh vegetable storage will be discussed. Knife skill techniques will be shown, along with variations to each menu item, making it a multi-purpose meal. Recipes to go home with each student. Registration is available to students 14+ Menu- *Chopped Thai Chicken Salad with rotisserie chicken, greens including romaine, & cabbage, carrots, mango, green onion, cashews and a tangy ginger peanut dressing. *Laden Romaine & Brussels Sprouts Cesar Salad with romaine, seared brussels sprouts, bacon, tomatoes, cucumbers, shaved parmesan, homemade croutons & creamy homemade Cesar dressing. *Gilled Steak Salad with Creamy Balsamic dressing, drizzled over romaine, spinach, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes and feta cheese. *Roasted Beet with smoky roasted tri-color carrots, creamy burrata, arugula, toasted pecans, farro and a honey lemon dressing. *BLT Chopped Salad with corn, avocado, peppers, tomatoes, feta, a zesty lime vinaigrette! Allergies and food restrictions will be considered, but not guaranteed. Students may arrive 10 minutes prior to the start for apron fitting and hand washing. Class will begin and end on time. About Allergies: At Culinary Cottage Teaching Kitchen, we strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for all participants. However, please be aware of the following: • We regularly handle and use common allergens including, but not limited to: milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, fish, and shellfish. • While we practice safe food handling procedures and proper sanitation, we cannot guarantee that any food prepared in our kitchen is completely free from allergens. • Cross-contact may occur due to shared equipment, utensils, surfaces, and storage areas. Allergies will be considered, but not guaranteed. Allergy concerns must be discussed verbally with a chef BEFORE registering for class. Our Cancellation policy applies.

Cancellation Policy
Students may arrive to class for check in, no earlier than 10 minutes prior to class start time. All cancellations must be e-mailed or called in. 50% booking fee is charged per student on all cancellations from time of booking, up to 10 days before class. Cancellations less than 10 days will not receive a refund. **Class cannot be transferred to another class, please do not ask** This policy applies to all Gift Certificates as well. If you've registered for a class using a Gift Certificate and do not show, the certificate is void. No exceptions.
