Kids Roc the Wok, Stir-Fry Cooking 11-16

Perfect for kids 11-16 years old. Let's turn up the heat and master the art of wok cooking in this exciting hands-on culinary class! Join Chef Sally, as she teaches Asian flavors and techniques to create a delicious array of dishes. Student's will practice Mise en place, involving basic knife skills, measuring and organizing all ingredients to create the dishes. Discriptions of different ingredients, sauces and cooking techniques will be discussed. Boiling, sauting, and searing will be taught during this class. Students will learn to prepare a variety of differnt dishes, with full portion tastings of each. Please note, this menu is not spicy at all. Recipes to go home with each student, so they may create these dishes for friends and family. Menu- * General Tso’s Chicken, crispy chicken tossed in an tangy orange, sauce. * Shrimp & Rice with a garlic sweet sauce. *Pad Thai, made with chicken, red peppers, rice noodles, edamame, and a rich peanut sauce. *Mango sorbet to round out this savory adventure. Guardians, this class requires a signature for liability when checking into class. This class is a drop and go, guardians may pick up at the end of the session.
