In this class, each child will choose between a giant sugar cookie or chocolate chip cookie base. Together, we’ll bake the cookie, then learn the basics of buttercream piping — the same types of techniques used to decorate cakes and cupcakes. You’ll practice simple, beautiful piping skills like borders, rosettes, stars, swirls, leaves, and textured designs. These beginner-friendly techniques are a perfect starting point for anyone who may want to learn more cake or cupcake decorating in the future. Once your cookie is baked and ready, you’ll decorate your giant cookie cake with buttercream, seasonal colors, sprinkles, and fun finishing details to make it completely your own. No experience is needed, and perfection is not required. This class is all about learning, creating, and having fun with buttercream. Everything is included — cookie dough, frosting, tools, piping tips, decorations, and packaging to take your cookie home. Everyone will go home with one decorated giant cookie cake. Guardians will sign in each child, this class is drop and go. Class will begin and end on time.
