Kid's, Sweet & Savory Crepes! Ages 8-11

This is such a fun age group, where things really click. They want to feel grown-up, learn real skills, and take pride in what they make. How about Crepes? Yes, please! Your child is going to love leaning how to make the most tender and melt in your mouth crepes, easily filled with a variety of ingredients. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, crepes are perfect anytime of day. Students will first learn the technique of what makes a great crepe. Sweet crepes will be made with a cream filling, and choice of fruit, topped with ganache. Savory crepes will demonstrates just how versatile they can be with a choice of roast chicken or ham, along with flavored cheese fillings and sauteed vegetables. This class includes learning how the read a recipe, measure dry and wet ingredients, slice, chop, sauté and melt. Students will have the opportunity to eat everything they create in class. All recipes to go home with each student. Class is open to ages 8-11 years old only. No exceptions. Caregivers will need to sign in each child upon arrival. Class is drop & go. Class begins and ends on time. About Allergies: At Culinary Cottage Teaching Kitchen, we strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
