Join Chef Tara for an immersive hands-on dinner experience that transports you through the rich cuisines of Morocco, Ethiopia, and Southern Africa. Students will work in pairs to create this amazing multicultural menu. These dishes are not spicy, but surprisingly layered with aromatics. A full meal will be shared together at our community table. All recipes leave with each student to create at home with family & friends Menu - African Peanut Salad with Blistered Baby Kale & Butter Fried Peanuts. - Cape Malay Chicken, a one pot dish with onions, garlic, ginger, cinnamon, turmeric and more! - Moroccan Tagine with Ginger Apricot Couscous - Ethiopian Spiced Ground Beef Stew with creamed Spinach, rich, flavorful and complex with an array of warm spices. - South African Malva Pudding Cake, sweet spongy cake soaked in a buttery cream sauce and topped with an apricot sauce. Due to the authenticity of the class, food substitutions will not be available. Students ages 16+ are welcome to register for this class. About Allergies: At Culinary Cottage Teaching Kitchen, we strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for all participants. However, please be aware of the following: • We regularly handle and use common allergens including, but not limited to: milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, fish, and shellfish. • While we practice safe food handling procedures and proper sanitation, we cannot guarantee that any food prepared in our kitchen is completely free from allergens. • Cross-contact may occur due to shared equipment, utensils, surfaces, and storage areas. Allergies will be considered, but not guaranteed. Allergy concerns must be discussed verbally with a chef BEFORE registering for class. Our cancellation policy applies.

Cancellation Policy
Students may arrive to class for check in, no earlier than 10 minutes prior to class start time. All cancellations must be e-mailed or called in. 50% booking fee is charged per student on all cancellations from time of booking, up to 10 days before class. Cancellations less than 10 days will not receive a refund. **Class cannot be transferred to another class, please do not ask** This policy applies to all Gift Certificates as well. If you've registered for a class using a Gift Certificate and do not show, the certificate is void. No exceptions.
