In this hands-on sugar cookie decorating class, you’ll learn all the tips, tricks, and techniques for decorating cookies with buttercream frosting so you can adapt them for any occasion. Have you tried royal icing and decided it just wasn’t for you? Buttercream might be your answer. It’s more forgiving, easier to work with, and—bonus—it actually tastes good. You’ll learn piping techniques, texture work, and finishing touches that can be used for everything from baby showers and graduations to holidays and your coworker’s birthday. Beyond decorating, I’ll share how to plan, prep, and bake for large orders, including how to spread the work out so everything doesn’t have to happen in one exhausting day. Recipes, techniques, timelines—nothing is gatekept. You’ll leave with the confidence (and know-how) to decorate beautiful buttercream cookies for every special moment in your life. Registration is available to students 8-12 years with a paying adult. Open to ages Ages 13+ Please note, this is not a kids class. Everyone in class must have a paid seat.
