It's the 151st. running of the Kentucky Derby! Don't worry about bringing a fancy hat, just your appetite for classic southern Derby day food! Let's start this class of right with a Mocktail Mint Julip or The Oaks Lily! Students will then pair up and make their own Louisville "Hot Brown". Student pairs will then take on 1 of the additional recipes, rounding out this classic Derby menu. All participants will share the meal family style, and everyone leaves with all recipes. Students ages 16+ are welcome to register for the class. Full Menu *Mint Julip or The Oaks Lilly *Louisville "Hot Brown" Made with roast turkey breast, charred tomatoes, creamy Mornay sauce, crisp bacon and melted cheese. *Benedictine Tea Sandwiches, a classic favorite. *Pimento Cheese with Vegetable Charcuterie platter. *Jalapeno Green Chili Spoon Bread, includes fresh corn and smoked cheddar. *Kentucky Derby Bars, layers of chocolate, toasty pecans and a brown butter bourbon. *Bourbon Meatballs, with apricot, bourbon, brown sugar and more! Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be e-mailed or called in. 50% booking fee is charged per student on all cancellations from time of booking, up to 10 days before class. Cancellations less than 10 days will not receive a refund. **Class cannot be transferred to another class.** This policy applies to all Gift Certificates as well. If you've registered for a class using a Gift Certificate and do not show, the certificate is void. No exceptions.
