Gluten-Free Pie Class!

Description

Whether you want to learn how to make gluten-free treats for yourself or a loved one, or you just love pie - you’ll get it all in this hands-on Fruit Pie Class! Not sure what to get your dad for Father's Day? Fun fact: Dads love pie! Join Emily from Bake Effect, as she teaches students how to make gluten-free pie crust from scratch, using principles that can be applied to both gluten-free and standard wheat flour crusts. In this class, you'll learn: Take advantage of southwest Michigan’s bountiful fruit season by learning how to make your own fresh fruit pie filling. How to create decorative top crusts for your pies. How to make a fresh mixed berry pie filling and learn how to decorate your pie in class with a lattice crust. You'll have the option of adding Father's Day-themed crust cutouts to decorate the top that will make your pie the perfect gift for dad! End up with a fully baked 6” pie AND enough dough and filling to make your own full-sized pie at home later that day (or freeze for future use!). *Please note that The Culinary Cottage is not a gluten-free kitchen and cross contact is possible. Flavors and crust designs will vary seasonally. A dairy-free option is available for this class - please indicate "dairy free" in the allergy section of the registration if you'd like this option. Class is limited to 8 students.

Cancelation Policy

All cancellations must be e-mailed or called in. All cancellations from the time of booking, up to 6 day's are subject to a $7 per person credit card re-processing fee. A $15 booking fee is charged per student on all cancellations up to 7 days before class. 50% of class cost will be charged on days 4 & 3 before class cancellation. Cancellations less than 3 days will not receive a refund, unless the class has a wait list and your seat can be filled. This policy applies to all Gift Certificates as well. If you've registered for a class using a Gift Certificate and do not show, the certificate is void. No exceptions.
